Insta Update #1 | Shaelynjansich

White mani and metallic tattoos. I love white nails they really pop out. I purchased this nails from a Chinese shop and added the gold stripes to add some extra fun. Its a easy and fast way to make your nails look great without pulling out the polish!
My family and I went for tea at Friends cafe for some cake and something to drink. I took a quick snap of my pink lemonade because its so pretty. Such a great relaxing little place to go and have family time.

This photo is of my friend, Roxanne, and I. She is currently down from Cape Town and we decided to visit the beach to tan. Its impossible to tan in the Winter but anyway we got some good snaps with the horse talking past us. She has just started a blog so go give her some support!
Things are mostly best in pink! Don't you agree? I love this photo of the cutest things including my Steri Stumpie!

As you can see my theme changed for my last two photos on Instagram because I just decided I wanted larger photos. This weekend I ate way to many donuts from Bread-a-Head. This must be my favorite donuts: Chocolate and nuts! My other favorite jam donuts.. mmmm.

While in the shops I found these Minion Tictacs and decided to purchase them to give them a try. I can't say I love them because Tictac in banana flavor is not my thing. I have always known Tictac as breath mints. So I find them a bit weird but they are so cute. Another mani with my white false nails and some nail art done by myself.

My Everyday Makeup | Natural Makeup

I decided to share with you the products that I use when I go out to the shops or visit a friend. I don't do my makeup everyday and I am not a makeup artist so I don't use high end brands, I use makeup products that are affordable to me. These are the products that I love and have been using for a while!

Face :

Foundation: I have been using the Yardley Stayfast Foundation for soo long. I still love it! I have it in the colour "Tawny 04". I used this when I was still a newbie to makeup and I still purchase and use it today!
Bronzer: I use the Avon Bronzing Pearls. They are the perfect tone to blend my foundation into my hairline and create contours!
Brush:This is the Avon blusher that I use in the colour "Soft Plum".
Powder: The amazing Lauren Geller powder which a dropped and cracked which is why it has dimples in it. I don't often find the need to use powder but on hotter days I use it to keep my foundation in place.
Primer: This under makeup primer by Laura Geller is great to use to fill in your pores and makes your makeup look flawless on your skin.

Eyes:

Eye Shadow: I use the quad palette from Avon called "Mocha Latte". I love the colours in this palette. I have also been using the darkest colour in my brows because lately I have been a little lazy to spend 15 mins on just my brows with a pencil.
Mascara: I have been using this lovely Lash Princess False Lash Effect mascara from Essence. This is a new purchase that I have been loving! It makes my lashes look fuller and longer!
Eye liners: I use the brown Maybelline Khole Express Pencil on my bottom waterline to make it more natural instead of black because I feel that black makes it look to harsh. I use the Rimmel London Soft Kohl Eye Pencil in black to touch up my gel liner when needed.
Gel Liner: I use the Maybelline Gel liner on my top eye lid and sometimes use it to create a cat eye. I feel like its easier to use but you have to get use to using it first.

Brushes:

Most of brushes are from Avon and then I have some random brushes from Ebay and other places. Firstly I have my foundation brush, eyebrow brush, eye shadow brush, powder brush, bronzing brush, blush brush, another eye shadow brush and then a blending brush,

 Forgotten Items (Opsy):

Concealer: I have been though 3 of these coversticks. They are great with amazing coverage! I use the Essence in "Matt Honey".
Lips: I usually do add colour to lips but I decided to just use my Baby Lips for some moisture :)

And this is my makeup look with wet, messy hair by the pool :) haha

I have created a Facebook page for Just Shae! It would mean a lot if you head on over and hit the like button :)
Hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know if you have done a post like this and leave the link below and I'll be sure to check it out ! Also let me know if you use any of the products that I use!

Easy Blue and Purple Toothpick Nail Art

Toothpick nail art is probably the easiest and quickest way to make you nails look amazing and appear like you worked hard doing your nails but it actually took you 5 mins. I put this easy tutorial together for you. Its really basic but you can get so creative with it!

Step 1 - Start off with a opaque white nail polish I used my mini white polish from OPI. (Try using another colour!)

Step 2 - Place a large "blob" of nail polish a colour of your choice at the end of your nails. I used "No Room For The Blues".

Step 3- Use a toothpick to drag the nail polish half way down your nail while the "blob" is still wet.

Step 4- Repeat on the other side with another colour. I used "Do You Lilac It?"

Hope you enjoyed this post! Remember to be creative and come up with really cool designs!
Let me know if you try it!

Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Moisturiser | Review

I have seen so many people posting about the  Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Daily Scrub and also heard that it would dry out there skin. I too have had this problem. I got the full set of Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit for my birthday last year. This includes the Neutrogena's Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash, Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Daily Scrub and a face moisturiser. This when I first used these product. I am only now starting to run out! I have recently purchased a new moisturiser. I love it soo much! It leaves a light scent of grapefruit on your face and is light on the skin! It solves that problem with dryness when using the scrub.

I highly recommend this if you are using the face scrub!
Tell me what moisturiser you use on you face.

#MyFabulousDBN Instawalk

This is a bit of a weird post but I just had to share with you! As you can see I took part in the #MyFabulousDBN Instawalk which took place last Saturday. After hearing the lovely Brett Robson talking about it on the radio I did a bit of browsing on her blog for more info and I decided to take part!

You can learn more about the walk here and you can still take part in this competition here! You can win an exciting prize!

I had a great time meeting new people although there wasn't as many people as they expected it was tons of fun and I would definitely do it again. Now, I am no photographer so when people started taking out the fancy cameras I felt a bit awkward with my little canon digital camera.... haha :)

Still had loads of fun and it was great meeting Brett! Take a look at the photos I took of our beautiful Durban!

Warning picture over load!!
